I, Jeffrey J. Antonucci, ask the people of the world, may I please take a few minutes of your time to share some thoughts and information having to do with the subject of Love and Peace.
Today is the International Day of Friendship. I’d like to use the values of love and peace held within this platform to share with the people of the world a hand sign I created.
I refer to this hand sign as, “Love and Peace, a SIGN for our times.”
It represents “Love and Peace” for all people and all things. I wish to introduce and launch this today. Please see the hand sign below.
Allow me to describe further. I recently published a novel titled, Deep Within a Blueberry Sky. One of the things this story highlights is the power of love and all the good that comes from love. One day while working on the manuscript back in 2016 – 2017, I pushed myself back from my desk, turned in my chair and started to move my fingers around flashing different hand signs. I then came up with the hand sign you see above.
Being totally involved in writing the story and all the tasks necessary getting Deep Within a Blueberry Sky published caused me to shelve the idea for a time.
This past February I posted under the blog section of my website, InspiredWorks.net, a more detailed description of how I came up with the Love and Peace hand sign, the reasons why and the good it will advance in a world that so desperately needs it. CLICK HERE to see the full description.

“My concern is I’m not seeing anything taking place that’s even coming close to beginning to right this ship, let alone actually righting it.”

We are coming up on the 50th anniversary of Woodstock. Peace and the peace sign played a major role in that historic gathering and have been in use ever since. I’m sorry to say, our world isn’t very peaceful 50 years later. I’m afraid of where we’ll be 50 years from now if we continue on the path we’re on.
Maybe the peace sign was missing the love component. Maybe love IS the answer. I believe it is.
As I mentioned, I’m introducing and launching the use of this sign of “Love and Peace” for all people and all things. I have much in mind for the continued implementation of this sign and its spreading of love and peace that I’ll be sharing. A video will be created for this purpose in addition to other things.
Also, September 21st 2019, is the International Day of Peace. I will be laying out goals I believe we can accomplish, on a global basis, by this date. When you see those goals, you may believe them to be bold. I say, bold yes, but with the power of love being the driving force, bold is not only achievable, it’s guaranteed.
In the short term, this Sunday, August 4th, 2019 is National Friendship Day in the US. I request that on that date our country’s leaders offer each other this sign of Love and Peace, starting with President Trump and Madam Speaker Pelosi. I’ll need your help in getting the word out there to make this happen. Please.
I too request, at the upcoming 50th anniversary celebrations of Woodstock, this hand sign be used, not necessarily to replace the peace sign, but in addition to it. This will provide the power of love ingredient to the mix and will establish a solid, stabilized base from which we build a loving, peaceful world over the next 50 years and beyond.

I’m just a guy that a little over three years ago, had the idea for Deep Within a Blueberry Sky come to me like a slideshow before my eyes. When I saw that slideshow, instantly I knew it was a beautiful story and I was going to write it. I did write it and got it published. The thing is, I’m not a writer. I’m a bricklayer by trade, who in time became a facilities manager. I was about to lose my job, when out of the blue, the idea for this story came as I described. I was totally engulfed in the love and peace aspects of Deep Within a Blueberry Sky and living in that beautiful world while writing that story. It was in that state of bliss that the idea for this hand sign came to me. I feel just as compelled spreading, through the use of this hand sign, Love and Peace for all people and all things, as I was compelled to write the 100K plus word manuscript of Deep Within a Blueberry Sky and get that story published.
People of the world, I ask for your help in making this happen and I hope we can become partners in making our world the loving, peaceful place that it’s meant to be, for all people and all things.
